I did not experience any difficulties in establishing if the articles I reviewed were qualitative because I understand the differences between qualitative and quantitative studies. Besides, I understand that qualitative articles apply data collection methods like observations, interviews, focus groups, and surveys. Furthermore, I identified qualitative articles by looking for those that express their results in words (Noyes et al., 2019).  A qualitative approach can be appropriate in my research area of interest since it can be used to explore the experiences of autistic children with cognitive training.
