I plan to incorporate course objectives and clinical practice guidelines into the clinical experience by assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based treatment interventions. I will refer to clinical guidelines when assessing and planning treatment interventions for various adult-gerontological conditions. Besides, I will critique evidence-based literature from a wide range of theoretical perspectives to guide decision-making on the most appropriate clinical interventions (Todd et al., 2019). In addition, I will assess the health needs of diverse patient populations to identify areas that require health education. I will apply my specialized knowledge in AGACNP to educate patients on preventing illness and promoting health (Todd et al., 2019).

Regarding ethical behavior in clinical practice, I plan to assess nursing interventions to ensure they align with the ethical principles of autonomy, altruism, human dignity, social justice, and integrity. Besides, I will demonstrate a continuous commitment to professional development and the value of nursing ethical principles in line with ethically responsible and legally accountable AGACNP practice (Cretu & Stilos, 2021). I also plan to implement AGACNP specialist roles to promote quality improvement in individualized care as per the professional practice standards that improve health outcomes for diverse adult populations.

I hope to increase my knowledge and skills in assessing, diagnosing, and providing evidence-based interventions to adult patients across the lifespan. I also want to improve my communication skills and exhibit the ability to communicate professionally with patients and healthcare providers. Besides, I want to participate in an interdisciplinary health team by proposing appropriate treatment interventions for patients since it will offer a learning opportunity on the management of various conditions.
